Hat Furnace & Duct Cleaning has served Medicine Hat and the surrounding area since 1976, and many longtime customers still remember us as the local “Big Red Truck.” We’re a licensed, bonded and insured company built on friendly, efficient and affordable furnace and duct cleaning.
In 2011, Sam and April Huxted took ownership of the company they’d already been part of for years. In September 2019 the business grew again with a second truck: the “big yellow truck,” now run by Jayden, with helpers Chandler and Blayden keeping every job moving.
Through every expansion, one thing hasn’t changed: we’re a family-owned, family-operated team that treats your home like our own.
The Big Red Truck days.
Before the black and yellow rigs, Hat Furnace rolled through Medicine Hat in a fleet of bright red vacuum trucks, the “Big Red Trucks” a generation of customers still remembers.
Look close and you’ll spot “Our Solution to Air Pollution” painted along the side. It’s the same tagline we wear on our jackets today. The trucks changed colour; the standard never did.
